A Winter Morning
By HollowRose
An alarm clock buzzes somewhere far off as if in a dream. Brought back to the real world only by the sound of your feet on the floor and the touch of your cool fingertips to my cheek. The relentless buzzing stops and I stir to see your clear blue eyes merely inches from my own. You pull away the blankets and crawl in beside me sending a shiver of excitement throughout my body. As we lay bathed in moonlight our bodies begin to intertwine seeking each others warmth. Your warm lips on mine, your soft hands on my back. Whispered words "I love you" and time stands still as we lay in each others arms watching the falling snow. Written February 18th, 2001 © on Dec 08 2001 05:28 PM PST 18 • 0 • 8
