Anger in his fathers's eyes

By IfOnlyLifeWereFair

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Why do you want to hurt me father? You throw me around like a rag doll. You drag me through the dirt and beat me like a dog. I feel nothing but pain anymore. I like it now. When you hit me I feel like I can take a thousand more blows and still be up to fight. But you know I cannot ever hurt you. I ball up my fists in anger and you see that I have a desire to throw a punch so you take my hands and bind them together with  metal wire . You slap me again and again and spit in my face. I feel blood drip down my leg as you cut me on the jagged rocks of the driveway. I am useless now. There is no way to fight back. I will die in this hell hole of a place. I hear the angels of hell call me. I think to myself that I must fight to gain consciousness. Slowly my eyes open and I see him standing over me laughing. "Get up!" he yells to me. I get up slowly and stumble feeling my head slam against the rocky driveway. "Is this what you want?" he questions with hatred in his black eyes. "I can kill you!' I yelled fighting back he looked at me funny and said "Not if I kill you first." The outside world grew dark and a red hot pain surged through my head. I was no more. He crashed his boot into my skull and finally took all that was left. I am going into the darkness now. I fear all and see nothing. My soul falls into a firey pit. The end has come to soon.
