'Father, do what's best for us'

Please don't turn away from and deny me all that is mine. You took away my knife and told me not to cut. You took away my poetry because you did not like what you saw. You told me that I was a sick little girl and needed mental therapy. You can call me crazy and lock me away but I will love you the same. You beat me until I cried and called me a dirty bitch. But I vowed to love you no matter what happens. It was an agreement that was sealed at birth. you were my only hope. I met this man daddy. Don't scold me for now I am pregnant with his child. I am scared and I need you to help me through this. Mom doesn't care and is too lazy. I need you this time. The man is gone now and left me in my sixth month. Be angry if you will, but please give my child a chance. I am only sixteen and I am in desperate need of care. Damn this whole thing. I don't know why I ran from you in the first place. you told me to leave but I see now that you were only blind with hatred that one night and I couldn't understand the simplicity of it all. I just wouldn't listen and that is why you were mad. Oh god Daddy I am sorry. It was an accident. Don't hate me.
