Stress Relief
Shoulders all tied up in knots, pain pounding through your head. Stumble your way home from work, you just want to go to bed. Don't want to deal with the kids or do anything around the house. Just wish everything would go away and be quieter than a mouse. I hate to see you in such a state, I need to ease your agony, before you crawl beneath the covers and hide from whats left of today. Send the children out to play, have a seat in your favorite chair, sip a cup of herbal tea and drop of honey, while I brush aside your hair. Small drops of peppermint oil, on the places that hurt the most, gentle spread across the aches, let me be your host. Starting in the middle of your shoulders, massaging the muscles beneath your skin, working away where you want me to, now your day can truely begin.Something I wrote for a friend.
