The First Robin of 2001
I was up early one Sunday morn and looked out the window to see. There were great huge snowflakes, the largest ones there could ever be. And then, the poor little thing, all puffed up trying to keep warm. My first sight of a robin, this year, out there in the middle of a snowstorm. You can only think and wonder if God has it all neatly planned. He sent that robin on the worst day, to let me know He has it all in hand. He told me to give Him all my worries, Let Him take care of my strife. Give Him all my thoughts and prayers; Give Him my body and my life. All this is represented to me, in this little birds' sorrow. Today there may be a snowstorm, but it may be sunny and nice tomorrow. Written October 27th, 2001 © on Oct 27 2001 03:31 PM PST 0 • 13
