A peal of thunder in the distance; The turbid sky roils a stiffening breeze- A harbinger of rain A fresh moist scent fills the air with damp anticipation Colors take on a darkened vibrance - a fundamental yearning Warm drops fall- the thick petals of some hybrid rose Enveloping the body (and the mind) Spattering the pages of an often visited story of love never found The cocoon of this feeling the silken web that holds emotion within Parts ever so slightly to release the power of the storm storms can give a bit of their power to you if you know how to ask...
