'I am Darkness Embracing'

By Lady JHA

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Embrace the darkness, it is your friend It hides all that you most fear. It shelters you from the ugly world. Feel it, surround you, embracing you tightly. Embrace the darkness, it will not abandon you. It will always be there when good times are few. Always around you, comforting when you need it most. Cast out your doubts, darkness will never harm you. A ray of light, streams through my window. When the room is filled with the warm light of the sun. My reflection in the mirror confirms the truth. I am darkness, embracing myself, no longer in fear.**Just a little poem about reflection. One must embrace one self before other can.** Written December 1st, 2001 © on Nov 30 2001 06:37 PM PST   0 • 13
