A Rant in Rhyme

By LadyLeBlanc

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

You can talk to me online, but never to my face. Things are NOT just fine! What you say isn't commonplace. You can joke too much, conversation out of hand. You're beginning to make me angry, I don't think you understand. I barely know you anymore, you aren't who you once were. Should this continue on much longer, a serious beating may occur. I don't care if I am short, don't care that I'm a girl. You will surely shrink in fear when you see my upper lip curl. PLease be a REAL person! Stop joking ALL the time! You were so fun to be around, but now you're out of line! (And that last line doesn't rhyme!)This is about a certain someone who has REALLY been getting on my LAST nerve lately!! Heavens forbid that he should ever read this, because then he'll probably go off on me again or something... But anyways, I wasn't sure what category to put this in, so I put it in "other".
