Falling into Blue
By LadyLeBlanc
He comes during the night, to kiss away the pain, sending gentle, grasping fingers massaging at my brain. A thousand grains of sand, each purer than the last, pouring down my eyes and throat in a single, silent blast. I'm falling, flying, fleeing, below, above, behind. That is the time he enters in, at least, into my mind. He brings me to a world of dreams, a place that cannot be. And yet, this world does exist, and it's this that sets me free. We're flying over land and sea to the somewhere he calls home, but suddenly I'm rising back to the home I call my own. Waking to a strange, same world where true dreams can't come true, waiting ever vigilantly to fall back into Blue. Written November 13th, 2001 © on Nov 14 2001 09:23 AM PST, Kaleigh Naylor 10 • 0
