The End of the Kiss
By LadyLeBlanc
It started as a dream, as wonders unknown. Each look had meaning, each touch opened doors, each kiss was pure life. The dream reached its peak, euphoric with bliss, then that was the end of the kiss. Jerked to reality, cold with awakening, my heart has been voided, cleared of the thousand knives you stuck in it. You stuffed me in a box, placed it underneath you bed. I belonged on a pedestal. I wasted my heart which bled my red tears. Confirm my fears, tell me truly, if this is the end of the kiss.I wrote this yesterday at a basketball game. My inspiration? A borderline break-up.
