Remnants of a Dream
By LadyLeBlanc
So many thingsYet none completelike scattering shadowsbeneath our feet.A wisp, a mist,a fluttering cloud. To grasp, to create,to speak out loud.I t cannot be remadeor die,a silver stream,a deep blue sky.So many mysteriesall around, yet so many dreamsremain "unfound".October 10 1999, This was the first poem I ever wrote in earnest. I was in seventh grade. The poem didn't start out this way, somehow it evolved into something completely different than what I originally had in mind. It has a special meaning to me that I thought i might as well share. Hope you enjoy it! Written November 28th, 2001 © on Nov 28 2001 12:05 PM PST, Kaleigh Naylor 10 • 0
