I Close My Eyes
By Ld Marduk
I close my eyes…But wish, to see,Thy visage, which e’er haunteth me,For twas noe secret, how I felt,As I was oft to tell thee –Yet seems now only, when I sleep,And when it is, per chance, I dream,That we two, art but once more,In each others company –Thus I close my eyes, but reminisce,Of times that n’er, shall be again,Taking comfort, in memories,For such art all I have –For those times, long passed indeed,Were very dear to me,For they were, of a time,I thought would last,For all eternity –Yet such they art, alas, no more,And long now, have I lost thee,Our lives…Did travel different roads,Our love…Now history.
