Reflections
By Ld Marduk
Moments drifting within a sea,Faces kept, in memory,Sights and sounds,Once held so dear,Now mere reflections,Nothing more –For often have I spoke my mind,Revealing feelings that I find,And there for all the world to see,A heart and soul…laid bare –And tis for such, that oft I’ve suffered,And questioning such, how oft I’ve wondered,Of what is to become of me?For the passions, and desires,That were not enough, ye see,To win the heart of another,Still, to this day, but haunt me –For though tis once, I didst believe,That some things were meant, as destiny,The time for such, now long since passed,Hath left noe validity –Now moments drifting within a sea,And faces kept, in memory,And sights and sounds,Once held so dear,Art now…mere reflections,Of what is…noe more.
