The World Trade towers stand mighty and tallIn a few hours time they crumble and fallAll the US forces and military menCan't put the towers together againThe Pentagon too has taken a hitFour planes in all but that is not itThose around fall casualty as wellThousands of deaths since the first tower fellAcross the nation the horror is feltNo one knows how this should be dealtThe entire world bows their headTo pay respect to those who are deadWith no one to blame, there's nothing to doBut thank God above that you're not dead tooForever in history we'll remember those passedThe laughter of terrorists will not be the lastWorld Trade Center, Rest In PeaceSeptember 11, 2001'Freedom itself has been attacked by faceless cowards, and freedom will be defended.' -President George W. Bush. May the souls who died today at the World Trade Center and at the Pentagon rest in peace. No one deserves to experience what you have. We will never forget you.
