II (Moon)
By Leylia
Tonight I walked alone among the stars, And came upon my favorite resting place. I leaned against the fighting form of Mars, And turned to look sweet Venus in the face. My right hand rested on the good queen's throne, My left hand held the pen that wrote these words. The sun, just gone, still cast a mellow tone. Comets soaring, sly galactic birds, Around the moon, who lay there on her side. And cleverly she smiled that Cheshire grin And shared with me a secret I must hide, A thrilling voice that chilled my open skin. And there, among the final dying light, I learned the ancient language of the night.you ever go outside and just see something so beautiful that you just stop and can't move again? eh, i dunno...number two of i-dont-know-how-many. thanks for reading.
