Farewell Father

By lilwing

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I'll never make you     cry again! Your tears scarred     my heart. This burden was mine,     not yours. Did you have to go for     me to see? Is this your wise     parting gift? The sins of the father     are only Visted on the children     when they are       blind. Written December 23rd, 2001 © on Dec 23 2001 03:40 AM PST   18 • 0 • 1
