Slay the dragons, one by one ~ Lest the treasure be lost forever; Raise the fiery sword of the Sun ~ Burning their shadows, as you sever their haughty heads with forked tongues ~ Once meant to confuse and deceive you; No more, for heroes have sprung from the darkness, and begun anew ~ To burn a path through the woods ~ Protected by their amulets of gold; Their goal, to recover the Goods ~ Man’s inheritance, long ago sold; Be not dismayed by the traps, Which beset you on your knightly quest; They merely reflect; perhaps, The trickster to stop you with his jests; One day, tales will no longer be told: When each man has found his destiny, Having conquered with a spirit bold ~ His dragons, to find Eternity.
