Alone, the urge to mingle ~In time, burns mind to remain as a singlethought that pulses purely,While solitude retreats, behaving surly.Absorbed, psyche seeks renewal ~Waves of solitude solicit my return,Back to the cave I rush for silence that I yearn,While social thoughts parry in this dual.At last, a hero rises from within ~Proclaims the mind is filled with sin,That of dark duality,In essence, all I imagine that I see.Alchemist, that bright Uranian force ~Penetrates matter’s core ~With lightning rays so I may see ~The choice is mine, to be free.Aware, alone or amongst others,No longer at tide’s mercy, my feathers ~No longer crushed as before,I have learned how to soar.
