By Linrose
Within the deepest Darkness ~ One finds the greatest Light; Contrasts of brightness and starkness ~ Needed while in the fight; Man gazes at the stars ~ Gleaming in the night; Blind to how those lights afar ~ Reflect his own birthright; Man prays or uses rituals ~ To ease the pain of his being; He moves from grace to pitfalls ~ Never sure of what he is seeing; He finally lies broken ~ in the ruins of his doubts; Then hears a whisper spoken ~ Amidst the turmoil and shouts; It speaks through his open heart ~ Which sent its own request ~ To bridge the soul, long apart ~ From Self, which was its quest; Compassion flows through his heart ~ For this man weary and lost; Reviving him with a start ~ When had his mind and heart crossed; A surge of fiery Light ~ awakens his cells with Love; He sees clearly in the night ~ Shining like the stars above; His pulse is one with Being ~ All knowledge crosses his path; He knows what he is feeling ~ His own truth within him at last.
