Hell Is An Open Fire
By lockey
Welcome to Hell that is the open fire And I must admit I do tire The days get longer and the heat from the flame Is burning my eyes and increasing my pain And the height of my pain seems to get higher Until at last I no longer tire Because the smoke from the fire Is crushing my lungs and making me respire I am crying. My body has given up... dying, The flames have now realized I am lying I know the flames won’t engulf me My faith will protect thee But the ghosts from the past still haunt me And the life in front still daunts me Written November 23rd, 2001 © on Nov 23 2001 06:22 AM PST 18 • 0 • 1
