Today I saw a fight at school As usual everyone crowded around - maybe that's the fight rule I could see the enjoyment on everyone’s face I heard the thump as it hit that lad’s face The lad ran off - the instigator took chase The main block was the finish line for this fight race As the crowed realized what was happening They started shouting and chattering I usually find fights so fun Jumping on peoples backs I'm usually the first one I'm usually the first to react Not even for a second did I enjoy this attack I'm usually buzzing as someone gets their nose broke And cheering as each of them put their opponent in a choke This time I just stood there in silence For some reason I hated this violence The instigator was a guy named Tommy I know next time to make sure he’s away from me His opponent was a tall lad - who didn't fight back Maybe he knew about this attack I walked off as the crowed followed the fight I knew that lad would bleed before the end of the night Written November 23rd, 2001 © on Nov 23 2001 06:08 AM PST 0 • 9
