Starry Night

By lonewolf joe

What dreams may come What prayers may send What demons succomb What powers bend To the stars above To those twinkling lights They tell of love And guide in the nights Many shapes deciphered Many stories untold They existed with your diapers And remain as you grow old At dawn on earth, but one shines bright To make a day a day, But in the night There the rest will stay As I gaze up in the sky And think of days that passed And all the time I let slip by How memories do last I wish upon the first star And yet I don't know why For although I know you are far We can see the same big sky Written April 5th, 2002 © on Apr 05 2002 01:52 AM PST   10 • 0
