Spirit of the Horse

By LuvingAngel87

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

The hooves beat fast wavering past my heart skips a beat as I nearly lose my feet eyes wide as they flied on the ground nimble and sound eyes a fire heavily they perspire long leg stretched a minute caught neck arched fine never out of line ebony coat dark as smoke long flowing mane wisping through the reing tail wavy and long like a beautiful song when in your seat I feel your beat I can sense your power but gentle as a flower you know I'm true and same to you you run with me and we pretend to be free you are never lost... you are never found... you are never tame... you are never wild.... ...the spirit of the horse.... An ode to Beau, may you forever run free (Please give me as many technical and personal comments, I want to work on my style and stuff. And yes, I do ride, lol) Written January 5th, 2002 © on Jan 05 2002 06:51 AM PST   10 • 0 • 13
