Careless Plight

By Lylorn

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

i did not intend it to be but you've inspired such emotion in me i left behind serenity you had seemed interested in me did your interest turn and flee? your heart will not hear my plea i beg you to talk to me! will you return my tranquility? my emotions are laid bare longing for your stare or to play with your hair to be the object of your care but you will not dare. to tell me if you care damnit! why won't you play fair? my jaw clenched tight i'll summon my might and ask you tonight why you cause me such blight when i expected delight. such knowledge must be my right! but i see you in the light your eyes hold my sight i no longer care of my plight and your beauty fills my soul...okay, well i dont really like this one, mostly because of what it's about [sigh], still tho', i'd really like to here some critical analysis on it.
