Encounter

Snared by her eyes, soft, calling for attention, smokey and dark brown, glancing to my feet then, rising slowly to meet mine penetrating my soul. Her eyes breathed laughter, a silent twinkle shouting her joy to all around, a deafening timbre, demanding a like response and could not be refused. There was urgency to her embrace, her arms encircling my body, gripping my shoulders and drawing herself in tight, face buried deep in my chest for what seemed an eternity. My arms folded around her, face covered by soft hair, drawing her essence with every breath. I was a knight protecting his lady. Not grasping why, but sensing somehow I was providing comfort. Then she looked up.... Gazing with those beautiful eyes a smile parted her lips, a quick squeeze and she broke away, she walked away....I just watched... Yes! I was captured by her eyes...
