A Simple Wish
By Madriar
Aphrodite in the world above, Grant thou the love of one so fair. For my heart cries of loneliness and my soul longs for happiness. For to long I have waited, when will my turn arise? For in your eyes, I am just a mere mortal, who is unhappy with the fate she has received, but grant thou, please. Change my simple life into something worth the suffering, I have bore through the years. Oh goddess, grant a mortal’s wish and bring her the happiness and joy that was meant to be. If thou shall grant my eternal wish, my loyalty to you shall not fail. I shall always look to you for guidance and help as I always have. I will put forth all effort to do as thou pleases of me. Your every wish is my command if thou shall grant my simple wish. Make me your loyal servant, mold me in any way thou sees fit. If my wish is granted, I will have an eternal price to pay and my loyalty shall stay eternally thou’s.This is a poem I wrote after Valientine's Day last year...
