I Think Its Going To Rain Today

By Madriar

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Though you may not see my tears on the outside, they are there. For I promised myself long ago that I would never shed a tear in front of friends. The darkness has clouded my thoughts and I can no longer see the light of day. My soul cries, for it can not bear the pain it now has to endure. I gaze outside to find that the sky is gray and the clouds are dark. My heart has scar where I have been hurt and I frequently feel the pain. I can’t take this much longer, my insides are ripping apart. And I think its going to rain today. Written August 13th, 2001 © on Feb 27 2002 09:45 AM PST   18 • 0 • 1
