Dancing in the Flame

By Maikaheniel

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Sweet beautiful mortal thread take my hand and we shall dance until sun rises... then we shall fly away to where it is dark and dance once again... until the world ceases to revolve and the sun melts away... until the end of eternity... until the cease of time... Mortal child embrace this kiss of death and walk upon these foreign shores chase the wind and kiss the starlight... sing to the angels and pray to the god of all creation.... take my hand this instant, or it may all slip away... the rapture of my touch... feel beauty in my death... in my lifeless being and come to me dance.... and we shall be one under these sullen skies dance... and we will forever be Reflections of life... in a mirror of death Visions of beauty... caskets of immortal anguish and fire... emotions that stir like the sands of storms... The living to the dead... but only Vampires to ourselves.Uhm... just got back from watching Queen of the Damned...They glorify the show, which in itself is beautiful, yet butcher the book, which had a good plot but was a bad write. I totally recommend reading The Vampire Chronicles if you can survive Anne Rice's terrible writing abilities. She's got great characters and a spectacular plot, but she can't write worth s***! Oh well... Written March 1st, 2002 © on Mar 01 2002 12:57 PM PST   18 • 0 • 10
