Evil Tucked Behind Virtue's Cloak

He laughs while my soul is crying. I live ...  but inside I am dying. My heart bleeds inside his spite, My blood drips from his knife. But I dream I’m in your arms, Holding me and keeping me from harm. Kissing goodnight my fears And wiping away my tears. But tomorrow’s sun won’t shine As long as he wants to be mine... As long as his lies burn true In my mind... in you. I slowly pine myself away. Living on each sweet thing you say... But, my darling, I am starving now. Slowly drowning.  ...  Please tell me how He could have ever gotten inside your mind... Why can’t you see how he has lied? Please, I beg, see what’s true! ...  For the future of my heart lies in you.Slightly cliché, I'll admit it... but I like how it turned out.
