When A Movie Moves Me....
By Maureen
When a movie moves me.... I don't want it to end For when the movie's over, I must face my world again It's like waking from a fantasy that seems more real than life Then going back to a world with naught but stress and strife. Ah, but, when a movie moves me.... I share the heady feeling of the ones who fall in love I scoff and get impatient when the shy guy needs a shove I pretend that I live among the fairest of the fair Their lives look so much better than the one that I must bear. I feel the music as it plays, enhancing every scene: (Loud) angry tones; (Soft) woman moans; romantic love song in between. I'm transported to another world I gladly pay the rent For when a movie moves me.... It's well worth every cent!I would really appreciate it if you would leave a comment after reading this poem. Good, bad or indifferent is better than nothing at all! Thank You! :o) Written March 12th, 2002 © on Mar 11 2002 04:31 PM PST, Maureen Halasovski 10 • 0
