When Friendship Sinks!
By Maureen
Some friendships last, some friendships don't, some folks forgive, some people won't. When there's been a misunderstanding, and a friend feels betrayed, that's when a little understanding goes a long, long way. A house, once warm and inviting, now fills you with despair. The welcome sign has been taken down; you're no longer wanted there. What took a long time to build can be destroyed in a day. A heart infused with love can get defused that way. There's nothing you can say and nothing you can do to save a sinking friendship when your friend won't talk to you. Join me in a glass of beer, let's have a round of drinks. I'll drink to 'love' but not 'old friends' 'cause sometimes friendship stinks! The worse thing that a friend can do is to suddenly stop talking to you. When you don't even know what you did wrong, how can you make things right again? Written October 7th, 2001 © on Oct 06 2001 06:58 PM PST, Maureen Halasovski 0 • 18 • 10
