I Had A Dream Tonight

Lying down on my bed, when Goddess Moon covered me with its silvery luminosity, I had a Dream, a Dream which was filled with her aura, filled with her shine! Lying down on my bed, when Goddess Moon ruled the world, I had a Dream, a Dream which showed me she flashing her sweetest smile, Lying down on my bed, when the clouds surrounded the moon, I had a Dream, a dream which was decorated by the Red Dress that she was wearing! As she walked past by me, I realized the Moon covered itself in shame, Perhaps she was jealous coz her beauty is marred, coz her beauty lasts only till the night, But the beauty that she possessed, personified chastity, fetched admiration and was skin-deep! As she touched my hands and smiled that mesmerizing smile, My whole world changed, My world was blessed with the touch of an angel, I felt an eternal joy, a holy joy! Lying down on my bed, when the stars were twinkling in the sky, I had a Dream, a Dream in which I saw her twinkling eyes, I saw an angel sitting next to me narrating a fairy-tale, A tale that involved me and her and nothing else but Love, I was lost in her deep eyes trying to find my way out, I was caught in that lovely smile trying to run away, I was hypnotized by that beauty sitting next to me! I saw not the stars, I saw not the moon, I felt not the serenity, I saw only what was there beside me, I felt only love in the air. I touched her and nervously held her hands in mine, But I didn’t know what to say, I didn’t know how to react, I only realized that I had fallen in love with her, But at that moment the birds whispered in the sky, Goddess moon was outshone by the hard sun-light, And I woke, woke to the world of realism, woke to the world that was without her. Lying Down on My bed, when the Moon was shining brightly, I had a dream, a dream that made my heart light and merry! Yes, I had a dream tonight and I dreamed the most wonderful dream of my life, I knew I had seen the most beautiful creature on earth, I knew I wanted to be with her, I knew I had fallen in love, fallen in love with a fairy that I always dreamed about, But, perhaps, I couldn’t gather the courage to propose that fairy, And maybe that is why fate took her away from me, But, yes, I know I had lived the happiest moment of my life in my dream, And I know I want to see this dream every night, till the last night of my life. Yes, I had a wonderful dream tonight, a dream that changed my world, A dream that every heart would love to see, a dream that every heart imagines, And I know someday I will find her out, someday she will be in my arms, Someday I will hold her hands in mine, someday I will kiss her and make her mine, I had a Dream tonight!
