Your Eyes
By Mouse Poet
'Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder' And when I gaze into your eyes, I see something more beautiful than dewdrops, Glistening on the petals of an early morning rose. I see something more beautiful than a rainbow, Fading away with the setting sun. I see something more beautiful than pegasus, Dancing on the cloud tops on a night of a full moon. I see you.Old, Oddly enough, this poem is much more complicated that it appears. However, when trying to explain the meaning behind it, I am met with many a blank stare of people trying to grasp my reality. Written November 26th, 2001 © on Nov 26 2001 02:00 PM PST 18 • 0 • 8
