Trails
For each one of us there is a path Converging but never meeting Twisting but never returning. I fell upon the wayside Twisted and confused. I fell upon the downside Ripped and feeling used. I wanted to feel the touch of your hand. I wanted to know you were there for me. I wanted to feel that you were my man. I wanted to know you loved me. Instead you ripped the seam of my silver cloud. Spilling my tears that it contained. I am no longer very proud, Of what we then became. I wanted to see you in a different light. I wanted to feel your heart beat next to mine. I wanted to see your eyes smiling bright. I wanted to feel a physical sign. Instead you made my world tumble down. Leaving my soul bare and arms empty. I am no longer happy when i frown, And laughingly look at you. Are we in love?is the rhyming a little much? Too repetitive? Written January 16th, 2002 © on Jan 16 2002 10:49 AM PST 18 • 0 • 8
