The Will of an Innocent
By OnceUpon
The flames laughed and the flames danced. Bright eyes played Vivid imagery, And wished for a piece of the energy Which was so close to hand. But he was innocent enough To know not to get taken in By what he couldn't have. He knew that the fire burnt the fools He had seen it happen So often. And in the end the fire always burned itself out, To leave the decimated consequences Lying within hot ash. So he just watched And let himself be teased With a smile.
