Dad

This is the first poem i wrote...i was 13 and....well its self explanatory.My dad disappeared for the next 4 years till i finally tracked him down. I had actually lost the third verse and today when i was messing with it, the verse was just right there in my head.WOW! I have pained over that for years. I always wished, From the very start, My Dad would leave, My parents would part, When it did happen, My heart set a whirl, My Daddy was leaving, I clammed like a pearl. I went in my room, I cried and i cried, I felt almost like, A part of me had died. Now all I can say Is that I miss you Dad And memories still haunt, Those wishes I had.
