Where do the Stars Sleep ?

By puref

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Where do the Stars Sleep ? Shining so brightly, each perceived as an eye of god. Mankind gazes, beleiving the truth to be out there. oh, how mislead he is! It is in himself that man should be peering, for only truths beknown to him are real. Whether god will pass judgement, or if he himself is his own jury, he can live up to neither. Man Perceives darkness surrounding each star, each being an island, all alone. But man is nieve, for he does not conceive, that only the brigtest stars are evident, but between two stars there is another. Squinting, something catches his eye. Faintly; poking; nudging "Here I am" Are mine eyes the first to stare, upon such beauty ? Mightst thou have been overlooked ? A Ray of light creeps ore the horizon, and the star is gone.
