A Golden Star

By Quabben

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

For every sorrow given to you, and every sadness that grips your heart A golden star is placed in store For each regret wracking your mind, and each rejection that burns your soul A golden star is placed in store For each good deed chosen to do, and every time you offer to help A golden star is placed in store A worthless life will end up poor, for in your time the store should grow Your essence is measured here The size of the store and the number of stars, will characterize your life At the final count after your time You will have failed if you find No Golden Star Was Placed In StoreSorrows and hurts help us grow.
