America
By Rainna
It should have been a day like any other, People going about their own way. But a horrible act killed many of our American brothers, Turning Septmber 11th into another unforgettable day. Such a terrible waste of precious lives, Killing how many we do not know. But there were people with children, husbands, and wives. Our thirst for revenge will not be let go. First word of the attack stunned us all, Hot tears streamed down many faces. But we have responded to the nation's call, Th task of saving those hurt, we embraced. Many have turned to prayer, Others have set themselves a task. Believe this, we will find any betrayer, You cannot hide behind some mask. If you wanted us to fear, You just steeled our resolve. Though we still may shed tears, Around justice we will revolve. We have come together, And we will hold strong. On our fury we shall keep no tether. We will put Bin Laden where he belongs. All terrorists beware of the red, white, and blue. America and her people are coming for you. By God's grace and our nation's might, America shall reign supreme in this fight.I'm pretty sure you can tell what this poem is about. It may not be my writing at its best but I am still proud of this poem. I may be a simple teenager but I am fiercely loyal to my country and if I could, I would be across the seas, fighting with our loyal boys in the service.
