True Love
By Riverette
He's the greatest love I've ever known The sight of him makes my heart skip a beat Thinking of him leaves me short of breath I wonder "how can a guy be this sweet?" My parents say it's not really love My friends all don't believe me But in my heart I know it to be true To my soul he holds the key. His sandy blond hair sways in the summer wind His blue eyes glisten in the moonlight Looking at him I know he's the one I dream of him every single night. How can I describe this love? How can I express it to you? Being with him makes me so happy Without him I'm so blue. I tell you now this love will last My life I'm willing to bet There's only one flaw to this great relationship I haven't met him yet. This is my first poem.....not my best work Written February 5th, 2000 © on Jan 05 2002 03:39 PM PST 0 • 1
