[I'm here in my bathrobe]
By rmerwin
I'm here in my bathrobe in my bathroom with my things an unfamiliar face in the mirror blankly glances past me I shave, curves of the chin I knew so well are cut with indecision, chaffed with inactivity a stranger looking back what am I becoming? I step into the shower cold water doesn't chill me cold for so long No refreshment, no replenishment I dry myself and return to bed. The phone rings No curiosity, no urge to answer I'm alone, and I don't know who I am anymore. Written December 20th, 2001 © on Dec 20 2001 03:36 AM PST, Rick Merwin 0 • 10
