What is Reality?
By Rose Patrick
We are told, About reality. We are told, What is real and what is not. We are told Things as a small child We are told There is no boogie man We are told That it is just our imagination We are told Things have an order to them So what is it, When things move by themselves? So what is it, When it seems to be a knock on the wall? So what is it, When it seems to be someone is there, who is not? So what is it, When you can smell something awful, But there is no reason? That something moving by itself, Was just our imagination. That knock we heard Was just the house settling Or a tree branch hitting the house. That feeling of someone there Was just the light playing tricks on our eyes That awful smell Was just the factory across town… We are also told To be good, if not, something bad will happen to us We are also told That the devil is going to get us if we don’t be good We are also told That if we don’t be good when we die we will go to hell We are also told When something good happens, it was the will of God. We are also told When something bad happens, it was also the will of God. We are told That mankind has been fighting the battle Of good and evil, since the beginning of time. What is reality? We know what we saw, felt, and heard… We know we didn’t get the straight truth. It is time to set things straight. We are going into battle. We must be ready for anything. Whether or not we think it’s real. When we fight the Devil We must be ready to fight the way he does And that is down and dirty. © Rose Patrick April 15, 2002 All Rights Reserved Written April 15th, 2002 © on Apr 15 2002 03:24 AM PST 0 • 13 • 11
