My Friend
By San d
"My Friend" So many years have come and gone My memories of you still linger on. I wonder now if you'll ever know How my heart is filled with woe. So many times you made me smile. With the things you'd say and do. We'd stick together through thick and thin You meant the world to me, my friend. I ask myself, why you had to go. Wished I was there to help carry your load. I always had you in my heart. Even when time kept us apart. I know that your in Heaven. I know you have your wings. I know your in the choir with all the other angels when they sing. Remember us that loved you. Save me a seat upon your pew. For one day we will meet again Together, we'll sing God's holy hymn.
