'My Mother'
By San d
"My Mother" Twenty years have come and gone, but in my heart, my Mother lives on. Sometimes I wonder what she would say. If only she could be here today. Can she hear me? Can she see me? Does she call me by my name? Does she know how much I miss her, and that my life is not the same. Does she touch my soul while I'm asleep? Does she know that for her, I still cry and I still weep? So many things I did not get to say. Before she left me that dreadful day. But in my heart I always pray. That all--------------------those things, I will one day get to say. So as I travel these earthly miles, In my heart I will see her smile. Never again shall I be alone. For one day soon, she will welcome me home.
