\"Within\"

"Within" Why do so much of me you know? This closeness that only me and you can show. Our inner most important thoughts, Are we trying to catch up, for all the time that we have lost? These emotions that you have stirred. Have long been lost and undisturbed. But with all the understanding that you show, Makes it easy for me," I know". I sometimes feel I'm loosing control, A feeling that I'm not use to. I've never admired from afar. Guess that's what makes this so hard. Your like a dream but still your real, And yet so far away. Where is this place you've taken me? That makes me want to stay. I've told myself a hundred times, to run away from here. But I'm already far away. And this is what I fear. I know that we can never be. A future I do not forsee. You have your life, and it is there. The same with me, but it is here. I'll never hold your body close. or feel your warm embrace. But in my heart and in my mind, I'll see your smilling face. So our thoughts is what I'll cherrish, With our memories of long ago. For they were our beginning, Of this fate. that we now know. Our words are all we cling to. So keep these near your heart. And remember that your special, Even though we are apart.
