\"Wrap Your Wings\"
By San d
"Wrap Your Wings" I know that you were weary. Troubles laid heavy on your heart. And now that your in heaven, you'll have a brand new start. No longer will you feel the hurt or hide the tears you cried. For God gave you a new beginning, the day that you had died. I know you found your angel, together you shall fly. In God's Holy Kingdom, in the heavens above the sky. Look down upon your loved ones, shield them through their pain. Wrap your wings around them, and help them through their strains. It's hard to lose a loved one, they need to know you're near. They'll miss and want to hug you, in their hearts they'll hold you dear. So smile from your mansion, guide them through the days ahead. Wrap your wings around them, and dry the tears they shed. By: Sandy/San-dThis poem was written and dedicated to a dear friend of mine.
