Let me

By Semanticcongratic

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Let me kiss the tears from your eyes, The pearls for tears you cry, Let me feel your arms around me, Feeling the sweet, gentle, caress And having the days troubles drift away, Let me taste your soft sweet lips like wine, Let me run my hand through your soft downy hair, Let me feel your great warmth near me, Always near when life is cold, Let your presence comfort me, Like a raft in a sea of trouble, And may our hearts become one.??/??/99, early early work, first attempt at non-rhyming way back in 8th grade. It has a lot of cliches and a weak ending Written March 29th, 2002 © on Mar 28 2002 03:59 PM PST, Jeremy M Olson    0 • 8
