A Love to Last Forever

Strife, heartache, misery All these come with being lonely Wishing for the time when you felt whole Instead of putting happiness on hold Waiting for the moment when no longer will you be alone Waiting for the day when you'll finally feel at home Slumber doesn't come easy to souls apart Being alone leaves you with but half a heart The darkest hours of the night only seem worse Loneliness is much worse than a curse Wanting to feel for once in place Wanting to feel angelic wings brush your face As you fall asleep on fallen feathers of love With the ONE you love, surely sent from above Reaching for the day when things will be ok Reaching for the one with which you will stay Sharing your heart involves loyalty While you're apart, faithful you must be Neglect the rules and prepare for hurt And you can't blame someone else for you being a flirt Stay true to the one you love, never forget For if you do, you'll never regret In time spent together every day Make sure to show your love in some way For I have grown to appreciate time When I am his and he is mine It's not very often we are together But every time we are, I wish it to last forever Sometimes love hurts, but if you believe You will find one who will never make you grieve If you chance upon one whom is true and kind Realize that this is one great find Share your emotions, your joys and your love And you will be blessed from the angels above ~*I am blessed to have found Dragon, and my heart will stay forever true*~It's very hard to type when your one year old niece is attacking the keyboard >.< I saw a few poems in the past days about pain in relationships and mistrust. I just thought this might put a perspective on things.
