Feeling your hand pressed hard against mine Feeling your lips so soft and sublime Falling asleep close under the moons night Waking up next to you in mornings bright light Knowing you love me and hearing it often Hearing your voice when you talk to me soften The scent that belongs only to you The comfort it gives me when I am blue The future of us that is so close to being The knowledge that away from me you shall never go fleeing Holding you when tears fill your eyes Hoping it’s not me for which you cry The trust I have only in you The promise you give you will always stay true Looking deep into your eyes Seeing your soul is more than a prize The anticipation of seeing you again Knowing I won’t be alone again All that you give me in every way Even the things which for me you have given away If I could give you everything in a heartbeat I would I’d promise you joy forever if I could Leave you, you know I wouldn’t Love you less I know I couldn’t I may not have much to offer you But this I swear is forever true My heart and soul belong to youUmm... this site really inspired my poetic side again.
