Senses
By SilentWolf
The wind brushes softly against your face The sense of warmth with your coats embrace The sun shining brightly on your cheek The sigh you give so soft and meek Can you feel me? The taste of snowflakes on your lips The comfort of your lover’s kiss Soothing tea on winters night Or hot coca that can make things right Can you taste me? Aromatic candles special made Fresh airs smell that never fades The scent of your mate you always know That special smell of winters snow Can you smell me? The beautiful sunset with the sky’s praise The moonlight’s power in full moon phase The vast tundra of arctic lands The sand prints left from children’s hands Can you see me? The soft whisper of a lovers voice Him telling you he wants to marry you, it’s your choice Listening to his heartbeat as it lulls you to sleep When he sings with feelings so deep Can you hear me? Knowing life is always a gift Moving with each and every shift Getting past the bumps that come Waking up looking at the morning sun Don’t you know that your alive?Don't know... have been thinking of doing a poem on the five senses... was going to make it more of an angelic thing but it's hard to put a scent or sight on something so beautiful.. not as beautiful as love though..
